Abstract
'Ymedaca' is a publication documenting Hester Reeve's two year project at Yorkshire Sculpture Park of the same name. It includes an essay about the artist (by Helen Pheby, senior curator at Yorkshire Sculpture Park), drawings by the artist, documentation of the events and exhibitions associated with the project, an account of the one-day 'Garden Academy' held at the 'park in August 2014 and three commissioned essays re-contextualising the relevance of Plato to contemporary concerns about art, education and life (by Peter Abbs, Karl Rogers and Mark Vernon).
