Abstract

This is a reflection on my personal experience, attributes, knowledge, and sense of purpose to anchoring meaningful and effective outcomes my research journey, teaching and practitioner combined experience for over 26 years which sum up resilience as an advantage of being disadvantage. This is aimed at sharing my own survival and overcoming challenges which I hope would inspire and enthuse young researchers and colleagues in their professional journey.
