Abstract

The aim of this publication is to represent the work exhibited in the exhibition of the same name held at the SIA Gallery at Sheffield Hallam University in July 2016 and also to extend the discourse of both exhibition and related conference through a considered, selection and presentation of imagery revealing a range of contemporary responses to the northern landscape and its representation through photography. My role involved collecting all the imagery, project statements and personal profiles from the 27 contributors and then editing and designing the book, determining paper stock, liasing with the printers, sourcing and ISBN, reviewing proofs and arranging distribution of the finished publication. Darcy White and Chris Goldie contributed an introduction and Darcy White also kindly proof read the text.
