Abstract
Interdisciplinary Guest Lecture discussing the experince of being in a deep sea submersible, the resulting video 'ARP' (Absorbing red photons 2016) and the accompanying research paper 'Submersive Aesthetics', in differing ways each aspect explores a collective encounter with a state of submersion.
The audience for the presentation drew from undergraduate, postgraduate as well as faculty members across Environmental and Sustainability Studies, Biology, Art & Art History and the Liberal Arts.
