Engaging Colleagues with AI through a Strategic Lens

Presenter: Alison Purvis, Sheffield Hallam University In the session I will explore how to engage colleagues in thinking about Artificial Intelligence, particularly when interest may be low or anxieties are high. I will introduce the AI Strategic Lens, a tool designed to support structured and strategic conversations about AI in teaching and learning. The lens prompts consideration of pedagogy, ethics, and institutional priorities, helping colleagues and teams to identify opportunities and mitigate risks while ensuring alignment with educational values.
