In this paper we investigate how a valence band excitation couples with TE-polarized THz radiation in a microcavity. Nonequilibrium Many Body calculations delivering an optical response beyond the Hartree-Fock approximation are used as input for a dielectric approach to the polariton/antipolariton problem. Analytical approximations that can be easily programmed are given and applied to GaAs-AlGaAs structures.
