Abstract

Semiconductor intersubband gain media can be engineered to deliver dispersive gain shape, leading to interesting consequences for the coupling with light in microcavities giving rise to coupled polaritons and antipolaritons. This may open interesting possibilities for polaritonic devices in the THz range.
