This exhibition ran concurrently with the sister exhibition 'Tier Perspektiven (Animal Perspectives)'. Both exhibitions and the film screening were curated by Dr. Jessica Ullrich and Friedrich Weltzien of the Universität der Künste, Berlin. These events brought together artists who have chosen to focus on the processes of destruction and creation of animal and human identity and thus open up new ways of looking at both. These two exhibitions plus the film screening act as an extensive survey of the key figures in contemporary art working in this field.
