Abstract
Lake Windermere: Am I Still Beautiful?, a powerful embroidered artwork created by artist David Morrish in collaboration with the Sheffield Stitchers. Spanning over 26 feet, this unique tapestry style art piece documents the litter spotted around Lake Windermere during the Windermere Marathon 2019, transforming the discarded waste into intricate digital and hand embroidery. Through thread and storytelling, the work asks us to reflect on our relationship with nature, consumption, and beauty in a changing environment.
