Abstract
In this one hour talk Dr David Clarke will explain the investigative journalism which led to his discovery and publication of the only extant photograph of the infamous Calvine UFO sighting which took place on the moors above Calvine, a small hamlet, just north of Pitlochry in the Scottish Highlands in the Summer of 1990.
Photographic specialist Andrew Robinson will explain his original analysis of the photograph and provide details of his subsequent study of the case explaining what evidence can and can’t be gleaned from the image. David and Andrew will also consider the theories concerning the image and possible explanations of the unidentified object which have been shared on Social Media, along with attempts to locate the photographer named as ‘Kevin Russell’ and share their thoughts on the most likely explanation of the image.
