Beware the Cat

Beware the Cat is a collaborative research project by scholars from Fine Art, Theatre, Literature and Linguistics. The project interrogates and reshapes William Baldwin’s early modern prose for a contemporary audience, developing the work as a multi-media performance for theatre. My own contribution to the collaboration included the production of over 100 drawings integral to the stage design and performance. I designed all the visual material for this 65 minute performance. My work is also shown as city wide projections onto buildings in tandem with the performances. The first performance was commissioned by The Festival of the Mind in September 2018. To date further performances have taken place through a tour including: Attenborough Centre for Creative Arts, University of Sussex, 10th May 2019
