Abstract
This paper will address an understudied area of
Care Home Catering Provision with the intention
to understand the historical and current state of
catering services within Long Term Care Homes
(LTCHs). Dietetic and Nutritional concerns have
been well-documented and studied for many
years. The role of the chefs and food service
staff in the care home and the contribution
they can make to the well-being of care home
residents, less so.
