Abstract
This paper will address an understudied area of Care Home Catering Provision with the intention to understand the historical and current state of catering services within Long Term Care Homes (LTCHs). Dietetic and Nutritional concerns have been well-documented and studied for many years. The role of the chefs and food service staff in the care home and the contribution they can make to the well-being of care home residents, less so.
