Abstract
This report consolidates a number of working methods/methodology by the originator in order to create outputs using drawing, photography and film in order to visually capture the creative ‘spontaneous’ potential of a given moment, or creative act. A phenomenological approach to ‘making ready’ for creative thinking and the potential for insights that can be gained. Gestalt ideas of focused awareness and experimentation were harnessed to achieve these insights. The original creative interpretations were in turn tested on three case study groups,(Design educated / non design educated / general public) using generated pedagogic worksheets designed to facilitate responses to the originals with text and image interpretative responses. The results were critically analysed highlighting archetypal correlations from the drawn reponses and resulting literal and lateral interpretations of the materials. A series of cyanotype 'collaborative' pedagogic posters were produced as resultant creative responses for future teaching and learning environments.
