Abstract
The IUT celebrate their 50 years in 2016. Seemed into effect October 1, 1966 the decree establishing the University Institutes of Technology. This anniversary will be celebrated at the IUT Nancy-Brabois on technology topics, innovation and art, these three notions closely linked since ancient times under the name ars (in Latin) and techne (in Greek).
The events
In the year program: art workshops, exhibitions, shows, conferences. Same goal: to enable students, staff of the Institute and visitors to understand the links between industrial and scientific innovations, the contribution of technology, and the arts.
All these events together will be honoring the arts and industrial specialties taught at the IUT Nancy-Brabois: food biological engineering, biological engineering and health, civil engineering - sustainable construction, mechanics and production, electrical and computer engineering industrial, chemical engineering, process engineering, industrial logistics and quality organization, networks and telecommunications.
Dr David Swann's award-winning ABC syringe has been selected for a specialist exhibition highlighting the social impact of design and technology.
