Abstract
Healing environments. Integrated technologies. Connected caregivers. Digital patients. As these converge unique and unexpected properties appear: the digital world seems more physical, and the physical world is controlled through gestures. Patients care for themselves, and care teams exist across continents and oceans in seamless data flow. Homes are hospitals and clinics are kiosks. Smart Devices guide and heal us. The augmented body and mind are faster, smarter and healthier. Your Innovation Learning Network co-hosts, the California HealthCare Foundation and Kaiser Permanente invite you to this three-day deep dive where we will come together to explore, provoke, ideate and prototype around the future of healthcare and “Connected Healing”. The ILN brings together the most innovative healthcare organizations in the USA to foster discussion on the methods and application of innovation / diffusion and ignite the transfer of ideas. Dr David Swann's award-winning 21st Century Nursing Bag was selected for exhibition and demonstration.
