Abstract
UK Trade & Investment’s British Business Embassy on 9th June will launch the International Festival of Business (IFB) in Liverpool. Held at St George’s Hall, opposite Lime Street Station in the centre of Liverpool, the one day event will showcase the best of British, building on the success of the Great campaign. It will provide a platform for high level contacts from the global business community where influential corporate and policy makers will have the opportunity to network, meet potential partners and do business. The invitation only event will attract an audience of over 200 global business leaders, opinion formers and decision-makers from key overseas companies and markets, and heads of UK-based businesses and organisations. It will provide a unique opportunity for global CEOs to engage with Government at the most senior level. Focussing on UK strengths in the manufacturing, advanced engineering, automotive and aerospace sectors, The British Business Embassy will reflect the UK’s leading position in these sectors as well as demonstrate how we continue to compete in a global marketplace. The programme will combine key note speeches and panel sessions from senior Cabinet Ministers, key global business leaders and influential sector and market specialists.
