Abstract
This is a review of Anthony Julius's 'Trials of the Diaspora: A History of Anti-Semitism in England' (Oxford University Press 2010). It critiques and praises Julius's detailed, scholarly and fluent account of four anti-Semitisms, each with a uniquely English provenance: the anti-Semitism of medieval England; English literary anti-Semitism; modern English anti-Semitism; and contemporary anti-Zionism.
