Abstract
Photobibliophile is a self funded, not for profit online resource celebrating the photographic book, through video reviews of a selection of original and interesting publications. The site was founded in October 2014 as a development of an offline student resource created some years earlier. The site is not affiliated to any artist, publisher or bookshop and all publications featured are from the curators personal collection along with a range of titles donated to the site by photographers and publishers. / The aim is to provide free access to rare, innovative, out of print or small press publications along with experimental student work and to demonstrate the wide range of creative approaches to photography in print and the photobook as an art form in its own right. Video viewings are accompanied by details of publishing details along with links to photographers and publishers websites. A Twitter feed related to the site aims to draw further traffic to the site and promote the resource.
