Abstract
Augmented museum exhibition with tangible narratives
Design and creation of a technologically augmented museum exhibition, created as part of the meSch project case studies and in collaboration with Museon in The Hague. The exhibition, based around the Atlantic Wall defences built along the coast of continental Europe during World War II, makes use of crafted augmented smart replicas of historical objects to allow visitors to choose a perspective from which they wish to learn about the exhibition. Combining technologies such as NFC, 3D printing, personalized content delivery, embedded audio, in case projection and data souvenir. The design provides a rich layer of additional media content that sits on top of the existing physical artefacts within the exhibition.
