A series of works on paper and a short film, exhibited in IL GUSTO di PAROLE
Lalangue is a dimension of language that is a form of jouissance, a hole from which something unknown emerges. It is a real of language, a sound of language, and it escapes language. It sings and murmurs, hums and purrs, opens and closes. Perhaps it is an insistence on sound, like matter, material, without thought or reason. Yet the pleasure seals the mouths of mother and child, pairing them and dividing them; silence.
The exhibition and related events address the formation of the subject through language, the encounter with the mother, the digestion of food and words.
