    Abstract

    This presentation is separated in two parts. In the first part, recent developments regarding an efficient Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) simulator are presented with a highlight on visual representation of local inversion and the second part focuses on a possible solution to achieve conduction band lasing without inversion.
