Abstract

Apple's graphical user interface (GUI) changed forever the way people think about computers. It was a paradigm shift in usability that opened up the specialist world of computing to anybody who wanted to become involved and became the de facto way of interacting with digital technology. Although it has changed considerably over the years, the original version remains an icon of graphic design and computer interaction.
