    Abstract

The report discusses a study that involved a number of agencies working together to develop a coordinated service for patients, so they could go from service to service as they needed, confident that these moves would be timely and useful for the stage of recovery they were at. This was a complex development, with different agencies having different histories, staffed by people with different backgrounds. The Study was known as the Patient Pathway Pathways for Infection Control Study.
