'La forme-valeur' is a solo exhibition that animates concepts from Freudian and Marxist theory in an evocative installation.
A commissioned large-scale work for the cloister space, 'La forme-valeur' presents extracts from Marx’s Capital Volume I, as sign-written texts, duplicating the colour, background and typeface of the packaging for the scent ‘Allure’ by Chanel. The work addresses both exchange and value, and their mutual relation to women, as ‘goods going to market’.
