WRIGHT, Ron (2001). Dish: sound design for 35mm short film. [Video]Full text not available from this repository.
In this work Wright begins to explore several themes within the art of sound design: modes of perception, varying points of view, intertwining physical and mental landscapes and scale.
The sound design for “Dish” includes stethoscopic and close body mic'd recordings to create a sense of body, identity and physical detail. The sonic sub-textual narrative style exploring notions of memory, loss and desire through an expressionist disorientated point of view to navigate the non-linear narrative timeline
