Abstract: | Sha-green is a collection of art jewellery artefacts which form a multi-component output, having been disseminated at a series of selected and juried international exhibitions since spring 2018. The research specifically sought to address the extent to which art jewellery, created using predominately denatured citrus fruit peel food waste, could effectively mimic the traditionally animal-based luxury material shagreen (ray or shark skin). N.B. There have been significant changes and delays to the exhibition's touring schedule due to COVID-19. | ||||||
