Eyes all colours, eyes filled red, eyes all colours, eyes filled pink, eyes all colours, eyes filled blue, eyes all colours, eyes filled black, eyes all colours, eyes filled green, eyes all colours, eye filled yellow, eyes all colours, eyes filled orange... Eyes all colours, eyes filled colours, eyes all colours, eyes filled colours eyes all colours... Où Sam Moore a le mood des forêts. Aurait-il changé d’air ? Maintenant il chante du rock. C’est peut-être parce qu’il a fait un tour dans les Alpes. Inutile de voyager loin (en plus Sam est un peu écolo), le dépaysement est au bord de la route départementale. Il est dans le verre d’une loupe, quand Sam y observe les sporanges et d’autres mots avec des couleurs dedans. C’est là que le contemplatif bascule dans le roman d’aventure, en trébuchant dans la syntaxe sur ses talons amovibles. […] Car Sam est un personnage mouvant et (dé)fragmenté ; comme d’autres auteurs de papier, ses oeuvres complètes se distillent en extraits pendant que le récit n’en finit pas d’enfler. Il aspire tout : l’art, la vie, l’art de vivre ; c’est pour cela que le livre commence avec unaspirateur et qu’il y a toujours du vent dans les coquelicots. Where Sam Moore has the forest mood. It is there that the contemplative slips into the adventure novel, stumbling over the syntax in his removable heels. S/he hurtles down metaphors and motors back mechanical scenarios by speculating on over-obvious coincidences. He aspires (to) everything: art, life, the art of living; That’s why the book starts with a vacuum cleaner and there is always wind in the poppies. –> Julie Portier L’Arbre qui Cache la Forêt est le 9ème opuscule qui rassemble Les Pensées de Sam Moore, écrites entre l’été 2018 et février 2019 auxquelles se joignent quelques pensées et échanges hors champ de l’été 2016. L’arbre qui cache la forêt est aussi le titre de l’exposition d’Anabelle Hulaut qui démarre en avril 2019 à la galerie d’art Albert Bourgeois à Fougères, suite à sa résidence sur le territoire de Fougères. The Tree that Hides the Forest is the ninth pamphlet that collects The Thoughts of Sam Moore, written between the summer of 2018 and February 2019 to which are added some thoughts and exchanges from the summer of 2016. The Tree that Hides the Forest is also the title of the exhibition of Anabelle Hulaut which starts in April 2019 at the art gallery Albert Bourgeois in Fougères, following her residence in the region of Fougères Anabelle Hulaut, née en 1970, vit et travaille à Château Gontier. Elle s’intéresse aux situations ambiguës où chacun, l’artiste, le spectateur, et / ou lecteur sont obligés de jouer le rôle de détective. Sam Moore est un personnage crée en 2013. Son déploiement passe par la création de sculptures, photographies, vidéos, sons, ou encore de textes publiés Les pensées de Sam Moore. Anabelle Hulaut, born in 1970, lives and works in Château Gontier. She is interested in ambiguous situations where everyone, the artist, the spectator, and/or reader are obliged to play the role of detective. Sam Moore is a character created in 2013, whose deployment involves sculptures, photographs, videos, sound, and texts published as The Thoughts of Sam Moore.
