Abstract
In the last few years, there have been many studies, developments and projects on mobile learning applications conducted to address the needs of informal learning in museum, cultural institutions or art galleries for students as visitors. However, recent studies have revealed that the visitors are quite hesitant to use the available applications. In this paper, we present an evaluation of the MOBIlearn2 app in a case study as we believe it has the potential to support student users in this kind of learning. We found that there were several technical errors and issues which need to be addressed in the original prototype in order to improve its design and functionalities. At the end of this paper, we propose a new design for the app with additional functionalities based on the feedback given by the study participants
