Ongoing projects by Cóilín O’Dubhghaill, Maria Hanson and Christoph Zellweger are described and the research practice and outcomes such research can yield are discussed. The paper reflects on how the research was structured and carried out, and the difficulties and advantages of the research collaborations are explored.
