Abstract

This book provides the skills to make accurate and rational business decisions based on sound financial management techniques. Covering budgeting and budgetary control, the book examines the role and importance of budgeting and provides guidance on how to budget. The book uses a number of case studies to illustrate aspects of the budgeting process, followed by examples to work on once the principles and basic theory have been understood. The book should also improve the reader's financial management skills and aims to encourage a more proactive view of management through knowledge of current issues in financial management. It is aimed at leisure managers, lecturers and stduents on leisure management courses.
