Abstract

US nanoparticles with the size less than 2 nm were formed within the Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films. Size distribution of US nanoparticles in different LB films and its further transformations were studied by UV-visible adsorption spectroscopy. The Lifshitz-Slezov diffusion model was generalized for the two-dimensional case, and the resulting time-dependent equations were simulated in order to explain the observed behaviour.
