A presentation given after an invitation to speak as part of the Wolverhampton School of Art Annual Teaching and Learning Conference 2016. It focused on the benefits and challenges of working with large modules, drawing upon my experience of leading modules in Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University and Graphic Design/Illustration at Sheffield Hallam University. It considered the role of a serial curriculum in building student confidence and developing independence as undergraduates navigating large modules.
