Abstract
The question of whether anti-Zionism is anti-Semtic has been posed by several scholars in recent years. Clearly, legitimate criticism of Israel is not anti-Semitic, and so the question becomes: to what extent is anti-Zionism different from legitimate criticism of Israel? This selected conference paper considers how post-1948 anti-Zionism is authoritatively defined and considers to what extent its purpose and methodology may be said to be anti-Semitic.
